Once i was back in BC, i met Trish Arato Designs- a fellow consignor at Blushing Boutique, her pearl and crystal necklaces are STUNNING!

This spring, Tousled Dolly and i ventured out across the water to Saltspring Island, where we met the most amazing designer-her bags are all made from repurposed ladies’ jackets, and i would buy every single one if i could!
from there, we headed out to the Fraser Valley, Fort Langley to be precise, where we had the BEST time at The Bloom Market! we’ll be back there again on June 19th! i can’t WAIT!
my highlights were Billie Schauer’s AMAZING pottery-thank you Billie, i LOVE the coffee mugs;
and Kim Cathers‘ unique and inspiring designs…oh, i wish i could afford that sea-green leather jacket….
my favourites from Bloom were also represented at Portobello West, and then in April at Make It‘s spring show in Vancouver:
fabulous fascinators and tiny hats by Maegan; folded origami ceramics by Lisa Dawn; fabulous leather adorned with antique keys and watches by Pieces of Two;
and the most AMAZING chocolate from Cocoa Nymph-saving the day not once but twice-i highly recommend the Sea Nymph: dark chocolate with Sea Salt & English Toffee-and made in Vancouver!!! i am seriously in withdrawal over here, the Lindt salty chocolate has NOTHing on you guys!!
